Exciting Announcement: The best is yet to come...
2020 has been the most unpredictable and eventful year for us and the year is not over yet. So far it’s been full of surprises, changes, gratitude and adjustments for everyone around the world including us.  This announcement we are making today is hands down one of the biggest and most exciting for all of us yet…. When we made the decision to move out of retail and into more of an online space tofocus on manufacturing and supporting our retailers as the NZ distributor for UK’s luxury paint brand Vintro we were really excited to jump into that role. It was without a doubt a huge change that we were all up for; and we were and still are pleased to have made that move. We didn’t realise then that the biggest change was yet to come…. if you told us last Christmas that we would all have periods of being restricted at home, that we would have to queue at the supermarket to do grocery shopping and leave the house wearing face masks, we would have stared blankly at you and thought you most certainly you have been enjoying your day with a few too many glasses of the good stuff. This year is a year of change and adjustments for all of us and it’s something we’ve all had to learn to do to some capacity, and it has certainly been no different for us. For just over two years now we have been proudly making Vintro Paints, designed in the UK and made in NZ. With pigments and supplies being shipped and brought over from the UK, then prepared and manufactured here in our bespoke facility, it has been a great  joy of ours creating a line of access to a paint system that we think is pretty remarkable. Through our experience in decorative painting and in our search and quest for the perfect paint, we fell in love with the coverage of Vintro and introduced it here in NZ. Manipulating and working with the paints in our studio in real time on real projects and then breaking it down and sharing the knowledge on all the things it’s capable of, creating inspiration on all the creative ways you can use it in your interiors. It’s been a privilege and a great learning curve in all the things we love and don’t love about paint, it’s capabilities, it’s restrictions, every experience is another notch we have added to our belt in decorative paints and painting which has led us to where we are today. The world as we know it is a completely different place now with all global freight and logistics in a pretty dire way due to Covid. Some of you may have experienced delays, pre-orders, back orders and although the team here work incredibly hard to get everything out and on time and you have all been amazing in your understanding and patience in this. The massive changes in the world have really limited our ability to service our customers the way we would like to or have been known too. As a team here we love what we do and it’s hard not to be positive when you work in a creative space, however when things outside of your control force changes then just like a creative project you need to adapt quickly and resolve any problems. In our opinion the glass can of course always be "half full" and not empty. Through our business we have always welcomed change, adaption and in return growth, and this big change ahead is no different…. So while we have been a little MIA on social media, the reality is we have actually never been busier in the background. As of mid- end October 2020 The Artisan Company will be releasing it’s own full range of premium artisanal paints and products designed by us here in NZ and manufactured by our team in our bespoke facilities within Auckland. We have pulled together and consulted with leading experts in the industry from designers, chemists, technicians, artisans, our retailers and labs in order for us to create NZ’s first genuine range of Artisanal paints and products, including our range of Premium Chalk Paints. There has been no stone left unturned in this process with every detail scrutinised and tested. We have chosen to use only the highest performing and best suited raw materials to create and engineer our paints from the ground up to be exactly the way we want them to be. We asked ourselves; in all the years we have been doing decorative painting and training… what would be the ultimate paint? what would be our customers wish list and what makes a paint not just good but amazing in our field. What have been the pros and cons? This whole process has been a coming together of creative ideals and people, artistic, technical and scientific brains with a focus on making the best Artisanal paints. Our range of Artisanal paints are derived from our experience in decorative painting having completed paint effects in both residential and commercial spaces, with the largest hand painted furniture portfolios in NZ. We have reviewed all the different paint effects over the years and thought how to simplify this even further for our customers through our Artisanal Paints. We have also learnt a lot from being in retail and knowing all the questions customers ask and wish for, the things they have liked and have not liked in paints and also pulled from our experience in training with observing thousands of workshop attendees over the years, it’s from all of these viewpoints that have helped to create The Artisan Company’s Artisanal paints.  Going forward everything will be sourced within NZ from NZ businesses whenever possible. From our quality tins with brass gold rims and white lids through to working with NZ designers to refine our ideas, print and label companies to create beautiful packaging to represent The Artisan Company, showcasing a NZ proud creative company who supports an amazing network of independent creative retailers. With colour it has been all about bringing our vision to life with our multi-pigmented palette of 67 core colours. Each one has been crafted and carefully formulated with quality pigments, scrutinised, tested and adjusted to become a part of our Artisanal palette. From sophisticated neutrals, soft earthy colours to a beautiful range of blues and greens right through to the bold and beautiful. An colour palette to reflect NZ interiors, styles & homes. This is a very personal project where we have not compromised on anything and where we aim to put NZ on the map not as just having access to, but in producing and manufacturing a world class decorative paint system for interior & exterior spaces…. this is what has kept us incredibly excited & busy in the background. We have spoken with Vintro HQ and as much as we have loved representing this paint brand as a NZ distributor we have both acknowledged that this is no longer sustainable in these current economic and logistically challenging times with Covid. Their response to our decision shows the great character and integrity of this paint brand as they wish us well on our journey and we will always hold Vintro Luxury Paints close to our hearts as our favourite UK Paint brand and will most definitely take them up on the open invitation to visit their facilities sometime in the future in England. Vintro paints will still be available through us and our retailers for a little while yet, even after The Artisan Company Paints have launched, however if you are looking to finish a large project or need a colour to match anything, or need your Vintro fix.. now is the time to get on to it and visit your retailer to secure your Vintro . Over the coming weeks we will be giving you more of an insight and want to share with you our journey on what we are creating and what’s to come, bringing you along on our progress and all the beautiful details of each paint range. This is an exciting journey where we feel it’s important to take our customers and followers along for the ride as we head into “launch date”.  The Artisan Company range of Artisanal Paints and Products are due to be launched mid - end October 2020 with 67 core colours. We are so excited to share with you all the incredible work gone into creating the ultimate in decorative paints and showing you all the new capabilities in decorative painting. We look forward to creating and sharing even more inspiration with you.  Thank you for your continued support and for joining us through our changes, adjustments, journey and evolution. We are so excited to bring to you  our very own first range  of Premium Artisanal Paints and Products. Follow us on Facebook and instagram to follow the journey…..Dorophya, Darrell, & Nicole

The Beauty & Luxe of Black and Gold
In the last few years Black and Gold has by far been the most popular request for commissions in furniture; and even today we have just finalised another client concept for a black and gold commission. So we've decided to take a closer look at this popular combo and to help with your inspiration we have compiled some of our previous projects with some videos at the end on some ways to work with Vintro's Victorian Black. Victorian Black has been a neutral that has been popular across the board through our retailers, in all regions of NZ. It's pretty clear that we sure do love our Vintro black here in NZ and for good reason. Vintro's Victorian Black is incredibly rich and multi pigmented with that signature Vintro depth of "colour" and there is no denying that it's Victorian Black when you see it on a piece; it's a deep dark rich statement type of a neutral. Not all black paints are the same and there is a special pigment/ tint during the manufacturing process uniquely added that makes Victorian black a true rich BLACK black. In fact many other black paints use a colour base that will lack richness, depth and under certain light, the black will take on a blue hue. If there was one word to describe Victorian Black in an interior space it would be "versatile" . A painted Victorian Black sideboard against a crisp white wall can be the "edginess" that  a modern contemporary space needs. Pops of beautiful rich blacks being the anchor in light and bright Hamptons style room. Dark waxed to create a beautiful warm antique black for a vintage space; or with a white coloured wax to create a french rustic look where the black looks like it's been limed with patina over the years. How you choose to do the finishing touches, will manipulate and extend Victorian Black to fit with the many styles and looks it's capable of. Overall it's been popular because it's rich and bold, it can make a bold statement but is still within the realm of being "the safe option" .  However, when Victorian Black is paired with gold it transforms it into a completely luxurious statement. A Black and Gold look for those who want add a  bit of luxe in their living. The moment you add Gold to Victorian Black there is an immediate richness and opulence to it, the contrast of a shiny metallic against a dark deep rich multi pigmented neutral creates a luxurious statement that says "I'm here, I'm special, I'm timeless, I've been here a while and I'm here to stay...."  There is a warmth to the look, it adds a  bit of drama and a bit of glamour into your interior space. When done right, it's timeless and refined and it's been a popular request for commissions as well as demos through all our retailers.  Here we've compiled some of our Victorian Black and Gold projects from the past and right down the bottom are some links to Videos on some ways to work with Victorian Black including adding gold detailing: Take a browse through and be inspired by the beauty and luxe of Black and Gold...     Click on the following to watch VIDEOS on a way to work with Victorian Black    Be inspired by combinations & colours by heading to our "pictagrams"by clicking on the image below :

The oxymoron: painting a faux wood finish
What an oxymoron this finish is, to paint something to look like wood? why would you do that? I hear you say...  this finish has been surprisingly popular over the years and here are some great reasons for a faux wood finish, A) The current wood tone on your piece of furniture is too warm, honey toned or yellow and you are after something a little more earthy or neutral. B) The surface is so tired and damaged that you would need to really sand it to get it to a reasonable starting point (not if you're doing a faux wood) the more battered the surface the better. C) You love that  pairing of the wooden top with the painted legs look, but your exisiting furniture is not wood, well a faux wood finish will make it look like it is and you can do this over pretty much any surface, from veneer, laminate, ply, lacquered surfaces with the amazing adhesion of Vintro Chalk Paint it will pretty much stick to anything.D) You have a wooden piece of furniture in the wrong tone and in a flat shiny finish and you want it to have that rustic earthy wood look to it. ie) You have a dark varnished shiny mahogany piece of furniture and you want a more "driftwoody" looking top. This finish will add texture and allow you to choose the right tone for the style you are after The Faux wood finish is something that we have undertaken on many commissions over the years, different combinations of paint colours and coloured waxes, small tweaks in your selection of colours will provide you with the perfect faux wood look to suit the colour and style of your home, from "drift woody" looks to that rich earthy rustic farmhouse wood top, the technique is all the same, you can adjust the texture and the colours, you have that freedom. Your choice of colours will determine which faux wood look you will end up with. So today we are breaking this down a little further for you from different colour combinations, to info on wear and tear and up keep on this finish . First here is a video we did a couple of years ago on the Faux wood, (sigh, yes we want to do an updated one but this one is still relevant) watch the techniques and then come back to the blog and  continue reading where we'll talk  different colour combos... Now that you've watched the video take a look below on which combination of colours you will use to create the Faux wood look you are after.   Lets start off with this goodie, this was a spray painted plywood door purchased from the hardware store  that we had attached to beautiful antique style legs (painted in Vintro of course) ... not solid wood at all, no texture, with a completely manufactured look. We then completed the Faux Wood look and look at the transformation below. Ingredients  1 Litre Stonebreaker Chalk Paint  400ml Dark Wax  400ml Clear Wax 125ml sample of  Crystal Chalk Paint 3 inch Staalmeester Flat brush Staalmeester 3600 Series Pure Bristle Brush  Hand painted in Stonebreaker Chalk Paint as a base using a Staalmeester 3 inch flat brush to keep the brush strokes in proportion to the size of the table top.  Detailed with coloured waxes using the Staalmeester wax brush in the order of:  Dark wax and then Stonebreaker wax, followed by a custom mixed coloured wax:  by mixing stonebreaker and crystal together  (equal portions 1:1), then followed with fine Steel wool (instead of sandpaper) to highlight and even off,  then a nice firm buff with a soft lint free rag to create a hardened waxed table top surface. The Light "Drift-woody" Faux WoodIf your looking for something a little lighter, almost driftwood like then this one could be for you... Ingredients  1 Litre of Pebble  Staalmeester 3600 Series Pure Bristle Brush  400ml Dark Wax 400ml Clear Wax 125ml of Pebble  125 ml of Stonebreaker  Using the same techniques as the video above paint your base in Pebble Chalk Paint using a Staalmeester pure bristle brush pulling in a linear direction, once you have completed your texture on your base coat, sand the texture down a little further as you can see this one is not as textured as the others. Then apply your coloured waxes:  (listed in order) Dark wax, Stonebreaker, with a light dusting of pebble coloured wax as a finishing touch and highlight. You can keep playing until you are happy with the colour, use fine steel wool or sand paper for a little highlighting and to blend or to bring the texture out then buff with a clean lint free rag.. beautiful.  Faux wood- Oaky look  And then we have this one... if you love that soft "oaky" look then this is a great go to, an earthy and very restful faux wood look.   Yep this was the before,  your typical Rimu piece of furniture, this was completed as a commission and our client still wanted a wood look but just not in this strong honey tone, there was also some serious sun damage see the darker spot in the centre. A solid wood piece of furniture that no longer worked with our clients new style and decor but a solid piece of furniture that she did not want to part with, a decorative paint finish provided the best of both worlds for our client  and with a home by the beach this faux wood look paired with soft blue greys was the perfect finish for her space :   Ingredients  1 Litre of Stonebreaker Large 3 or 4 inch Staalmeester flat brush  Staalmeester 3600 Series Pure Bristle Brush  400ml Dark Wax400ml Clear Wax 125ml of Pebble  125 ml of Stonebreaker  Paint your base coat using Stonebreaker, we used a 3 and a 4 inch brush on this table for larger brush strokes that were in proportion to the table however depending on the size of furniture and table top, adjust your brush size to work in with your piece, if you're not sure, get in touch with us or ask a retailer. Once the textured based coat was created we gave this piece a really good sand with 240 grit sand paper to get rid of any major texture. Then waxes in the following order: Dark wax, Pebble coloured wax (which will really lighten) finished with Stonebreaker coloured wax. Then a really nice buff with a clean lint free rag  Farmhouse Rustic: Well if you watched the video you will be a pro with this recipe already :-) These colours work not just for farmhouse rustic but will also works well with tropical,  botanical or plantation styled interiors as well as french country. and this recipe is all laid out for you beautifully from when we had our project series together with the Video you have just watched  :    So at the start of this blog we showed you a video on how well the finish wears and how durable it is. There are a few key things you will need to consider though before you create this finish. This finish is great for the "occasionally" used pieces of furniture like the hall table, side tables or desks. On a dining table you may need to re-wax occasionally depending on how hard you use it and we say this because we are thinking of those of you who have young kids.  This is a waxed finish so it will repel any liquids making it nice and easy to clean. Being a waxed finish you can clean with a damp (just water) cloth but you will need to avoid alcohol based cleaners.  However, when we originally came up with this finish, our kids were still really young and we were a bit over being pristine with our dining table, so we created this finish with them in mind,  lots of rustic texture and we just left them to go wild on it and in fact the more it was used,  we found the more beautiful it got in terms of character and age, it's a finish that ages well and is forgiving because of the rustic nature of it. Over time if you are using it really hard you may want to re-wax it using the last colour/ layer of wax that you did on your table, so it's always good to have some extra of this coloured wax in the cupboard. When re-waxing lightly apply and gently remove excess, then come back and buff it to a "new" like finish. As with any waxed finishes, you still want to use coasters, placemats and care for your table top surface like you would any varnished wood surface.  Extra Tips: For the rustic texture, you must load up your paint onto your surface liberally & thickly brushing it out, leave to air (or paint with a hairdryer in one hand but move it around) & half dry,   and then disturb it as the paint is drying and pull it around to create even more texture. You will need to repeat this step  until you get a porridge like consistency or until your texture replicates wood grain. After you are happy with your texture leave to dry, it is important to lightly sand to remove any "loose" texture prior to sealing and decorating with wax. If you are layering and detailing with mulitple wax brush it is recommended that you do this with either a large Staalmeester wax brush (for bigger pieces) or the small Vintro Wax brush (smaller pieces) to allow you to spread and detail that coloured wax in one go.   So that about wraps it, wow this blog was suppose to be short but it's really grown into a big one, but hopefully it has all the information for you to decide on and  confidently start your faux wood project. If you live close to a retailer pop in with your ingredient list to purchase all the things you need , they will also be able to answer any questions you may have, and may even have a version of this in store for you to view. If you don't live close to one, all materials, paints and brushes can be purchased online through this website  and you can of course contact us anytime either via phone, email or chat with any of your questions. Happy Faux Wood Painting!

6 simple things you probably haven't thought of that you can paint to make your bathroom "a room" -
Today we have just organised our bathroom here at The Artisan Company which has inspired this blog post today. When moving into a new space or home the bathroom is often the last left to organise, that is certainly the case for us here. It's the last place to make look pretty and although we have been in this space for weeks, it's only now we've started to organise the room fully. It's the room where you can easily close the door and forget about it really,  but it's also the room that takes the least effort to transform through a paint finish, often using little paint, a small room that you can complete with Vintro in a day when it comes to painting the walls, floors, vanity etc. Although today we're not talking about painting the room, but more on items you can you probably have lying around that you probably haven't thought about that you can paint and utilise for the bathroom. Painted pieces and decor can really help  to  remove the sterile nature of a bathroom, add life, colour, depth and character to it.  Hutch Dressers So let's start with this piece, currently sitting proud in The Artisan Company bathroom, originally a dark mahogany hutch dresser, now turned into a bathroom piece to hold toilet paper, towels, cleaners  & display our guest soaps and hand creams. If you have space in your bathroom, a beautiful painted hutch dresser could just be the perfect wow piece to set the style and mood and make it a little grand & bespoke. This one has been  Painted in a textured Pebble, dark waxed and then coloured waxes in Crystal & Stone breaker. It sits against our concrete wall in the bathroom and helps to add some warmth into the space but also a beautiful textured and rustic touch which pairs beautifully with the surrounding concrete walls.  Get the look by painting your bathroom walls in Concrete effect paint and then transform that dark mahogany hutch dresser into a wow piece for your bathroom. Contrast or break the piece up by painting the internal shelves a different colour.  If  you're after a fresher look, here's one done we did in Crystal No Seal Chalk Paint, with Tower Bridge on the inside, a pale grey to break it up a little with a little Vintro Silver on the wood work on the glass doors. There are many of these vintage dressers around in different styles, try to find one  where there is not much depth to the piece making it an easy piece to slot into bathroom or  ensuite.  Vintage or Antique Pot StandsOh the Pot Stand, such a great vintage find and these really do come in all shapes and sizes and they slot perfectly into the corner of a bathroom, they often don't take much space and are great for creating height in a room, place a simple potted plant on top to add greenery and  life to the bathroom or a large floral arrangement for that touch of drama.  Get the look, nice and fresh in Aurora Chalk paint ( a blue grey)  with Stone breaker coloured wax or keep it modern and chic and paint it in Victorian Black     Or  rich and luxurious, paint it in French Navy with Victorian Black wax with a dusting of Christabelle wax. Also great for adding a nice Large candle for those relaxing bath nights.  Odd Stools or Occassional tables Keep those odd occasional tables and stools, they are great for holding and stacking up rolled up towels, books or magazines in the bathroom or for holding a bunch of candles near the bath. Photo above is painted in French Navy with Georgian Sky coloured wax with the top decoupaged using paper, placed and sealed with Vintro Lacquer (outdoor grade lacquer, great for a wet area). Photo below shows a textured and rustic paint finish on what use to be a small tired stool in cloudburst then a Victorian Black coloured wax   Half Round TablesThis ones been painted in Sage No Seal Chalk paint, and we  love half rounds, they are one of the most versatile pieces in an interior space. You can place them in so many places and yes including the bathroom. A great space saver that takes little room and whether it's decor you will place on it, towels or guest soaps, it can instantly help to make bathroom "a room" Small Tea Trolleys Another great piece if your bathroom has the space, basically works as a little hall table for the room, roll up your towels and stack them underneath, plenty of space on the top for a vase, greenery, soaps, and magazines (we're talking a full story and setting). Roll it over closer to the bath tub, for making that glass & bottle of wine within easy reach while you soak.  Paint it in Tower Bridge No Seal Chalk Paint for a beautiful fresh pale grey smooth finish, No Seal Chalk Paint is also an outdoor grade paint making it ideal for wet areas.  Vintage Chairsand lastly those old vintage wooden chairs! quaint and cute, great for smaller bathrooms  and a great piece to inject a bold pop of colour onto,  thus also into your bathroom. Stack your soaps in a bowl, or arrange your soap dispenser,  potted plant, magazines whatever you want, hang your hand towel on the back rest or 2 if you have one similar to the one below. Next time you spot a wooden vintage chair, paint it up in Vintro, use a sash brush to make the job easy, and create an eclectic characterful setting. If you like the one below paint it in Sunflower Yellow and age it with plenty of dark wax and then steel wool to highlight.   Whatever the project, you can quickly add colour and transform with No Sanding or Priming just paint and get creative!  Looking to start a project and need help with some ideas? Find a retailer for The Artisan Company by clicking here Don't live near a retailer,  don't worry, the Team here at The Artisan Company are ready to help click here to connect with us  To explore all the colour in Vintro Chalk Paint click here

Front Door Makeover in Esmeralde
We love this Front door before and after sent in by customer  Nayth L in Torbay Auckland. Nayth got in touch with the team here at The Artisan Company where we discussed colours, and finishes for her front door and the products most suitable for the look and finish she was after. With it being her first time using Vintro Paints, we also talked her through the techniques and provided the  tools she would need to make the job easy. The paints were ordered and sent and we love the results and the feedback she has sent in. "Love love love the colour. Many thanks for your help with the process!!! We are so proud of our front door!...The brush you suggested was perfect and we still have heaps of that beautiful paint left for future projects".- Nayth L We set Nayth up with No Seal Chalk Paint, a creamy self levelling Chalk Paint that dries completely Matt with no lacquer or wax required. No Seal Chalk Paint is a durable indoor/outdoor grade Chalk Paint, and many of our customers have used this paint to transform anything from Kitchens, outdoor furniture to skirtings and bathroom vanities. No Seal Chalk Paint generally requires little to no prep but on high gloss surfaces it is recommended that you sand and rough up the surface with 80-100 grit sand paper. In this case it was straight over the existing surface. Nayth purchased a Staalmeester flat synthetic brush series 2023 in size 20 (2 inch) that we recommended for her  to create a beautiful flat finish on her door. Staalmeester brushes are loved around the world by expert painters for it's high performance, high absorbent bristles, allowing for minimal paint wastage, with the bristles designed to beautifully move and easily spread the No Seal Chalk Paint, a rich creamy highly pigmented paint. Staalmeester brushes elevates the painting experience when paired with Vintro and we believe is highly important for a first time painter. Your tools are everything with it comes to painting and the end results.  With Nayth we also recommended a Matt Lacquer, to provide a subtle sheen to the door. Lifting it from a Chalky Matt finish (that No Seal provides) to a matt finish with a subtle sheen, overall it still holds a matt look, just not as matt as No Seal. It also helps to provide extra durability on the No Seal Chalk Paint finish which is a bonus. Matt lacquer was applied over the dried No Seal Chalk paint, using the same brush (cleaned of course) applying 2 thin coats. We always recommend two thin coats with lacquer as you are bound to miss areas on the first coat, 2 thin coats ensures you cover the entire surface. All of Vintro's Extreme lacquers are outdoor grade, so provides great protection on a project like this where it gets rain and direct sunlight. Vintro lacquers comes in 3 sheen levels, Matt, Satin and Gloss.  We love Nayth's project, an injection of colour & character on the front door livening up the entrance of her home and a beautiful statement as you walk up to the house, greeted by this rich gorgeous colour.  Esmeralde is a stunning jewel toned colour, multi-pigmented  with that signature depth of colour that Vintro is so well known for. Here's a little about Esmeralde:"This fabulous emerald green was notorious in Georgian Britain.  At this time it was known as the ‘deadly’ green as it poisoned it’s users, it was seen as both luxurious and stylish in interiors and fashion.  Of course, our Esmeralde is completely safe!" Front door projects can be fast and easy, No Seal Chalk Paint takes approx 1 hour to dry in NZ climate. When looking to do your front door, you want to start by looking at your home, at street level and decide on what it is you are wanting to create, something bold to pop against the exterior of your home, create a  statement, maybe using the accent colours that you have inside your home and drawing it out to your front door ie) if you dress your home with navy blue cushions, maybe a navy blue door or it might be that you want something to tone in with the exterior of your home and compliment it. The next decision will be on your sheen level, whether you want a matt, satin or gloss, it's all possible.  A painted front door can set the tone for your interiors and create great street appeal for your home allowing you to make it bespoke & uniquely yours. It can certainly be a memorable statement when using rich bold colours. The doing part is easy the hardest part to doing a front door makeover is deciding on a colour! If you are looking to do a front door project and live close by to one of our experienced retailers pop in store to have a chat and explore the options. To find a retailer click here If you don't live near a retailer and can't make it in to see one, don't worry, get in contact with us here at The Artisan Company and on of our experienced team members here  can help guide you, you can find ways to contact us here. Explore all the colours in Vintro No Seal Chalk Paint here

Green with Envy with Brooklands Supreme Matt Emulsion
This Friday Night we are sharing this gorgeous photo sent in by Lisa. S in Auckland who has transformed her bedroom wall with Supreme Matt Emulsion Wall paint in Brooklands. Vintro's Supreme Matt Emulsion is a rich and multi-pigmented luxury wall paint which has an incredible depth of colour that responds to all types of lighting bringing your walls to life adding a beautiful matt luxurious look and feel to your walls and space, and is also supremely functional as it's also wipeable and durable.  Changing the colour of your walls can have a huge impact on your interior spaces, in that it can really set the mood and style for your room as well as making a bespoke statement for your space and in this example, it shows that the bold choices do pay off. When using bold colours be brave and visualise your story, defining what you're looking to create. What's the mood? the look and style? and what furnishings, textiles and textures can you bring in to complete and compliment the setting. It's best if elements are strong but work harmoniously to create you cohesive interiors story. In Lisa's case; Brooklands is a magnificent back drop for her bed, working really well with her floral cushions. The cushions add beautifully with their blue and orange and a hint of green with garden florals and dragonfly's which all pop against the Brooklands, complimenting it and adding a garden/ botanical touch to the look. We can see this all works well with the luscious rich Brooklands which sits well with anything earthy or botanical. The natural woven frames sitting against the walls are another great choice adding a raw, earthy and relaxed element into the room as well as continuing to build upon the botanical luscious green look,  style and theme to the room. It's about decor and furnishings as well, but most definitely the hero here is in the richness and depth of Vintro's, rich and highly pigmented walls paint.
