We recently released a video on how to create a Tuscan style stone finish on a plastic barrel and it's been great to see the large number of video streams from this;  a simple technique with a little know how creating a beautiful varied Artisan stone finish with strong tuscan vibes.

So today we're answering the question of whether this can be applied to furniture and what would that look like, the answer is yes and it looks like an Artisan Stone piece.

Here it is,  your typical dark Mahogany half round table transformed into Artisan Stone... competed in the same finish as the plastic barrel shown in the video using the exact same technique, with the only difference being that we dropped down in size when it came to the brush, working instead with a Staalmeester pointed tip (same bristles as series 2020) in proportion to the piece of furniture   for the coloured washes and  being guided by the furniture and it's natural lines we've chosen to emphasise and shadow according to the shape of your classic half round table.  (Artisan Stone Spreaders were still used in the same way)
