Today we're featuring a Tuscan style finish that's earthy, aged, organic looking with character, variation and a great technique for not only decor, pots and furniture but also for decorative walls, an easy to do DIY with a little know how.

We've gone for a big transformation turning a Red Plastic barrel into a Stone Barrel for the garden for @artisanathome showing that you can you turn pretty much anything you want into Artisan Stone and this time we've recorded a full behind the scenes to run you through it.

The plastic barrel has been paired with a terracotta pot completed in the same technique and the two recreated as a set for the garden. Taking two odd pieces and making them work cohesively. We are firm believers that once you discover the power of Artisan Stone Effects, you start to see things differently..... you start looking at things for their shape and size rather than finish knowing you have the power to turn anything into Artisan Stone.

The video briefly covers the application of Artisan Stone Effects. For a full run down on Artisan Stone Effects click on the following to watch : Full Run Down of Stone Effects  it then quickly moves  on to  how to quickly and instantly add variation age and detail over your Artisan Stone Effects creating an aged, varied stone finish with character. How to work back and forth in creating variation, it also covers trouble shooting and how to remove /erase what you've done. Everything you need to go to create your character Artisan Stone Effects Finish
