Regular price $0.00Our lovely client and owner of this sideboard was inspired by one of many showcase pieces in the gallery on a recent visit; and with this concept in mind we were proud to undertake this revival. This sideboard is now a gorgeous bespoke piece with a sentimental value; it has a real depth and personality created through multiple layering and waxing techniques. In many revivals it can be important to reinvent the piece through hardware and handles, as was the case here and we used some solid cast handles from our extensive range to compliment the design. (The mirror pictured in the shot was also revived for the client) A sideboard should always be a beautiful feature piece in your home; with Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan it allows you to revive your piece to suit the colour and style of your home.
Hand painted in Paris Grey, with a colour wash of French Linen and Paris Grey to add a subtle warmth to the colour. Further detailed with white wax and subtle warm silver wax created by mixing silver gilding wax with a touch of gold giving the bevels and edges a beautiful luminescent look. The internals completed in Graphite with clear wax.
