Commissioned Antique dressing table into hall table in Aubusson Blue

Our client was redecorating a room required some additional bespoke quality furniture to complete the concept. Previously we had already revived a linen closet and bedsides inParis Grey with Aubusson Blue inners however as the room called for a hall table to finish a small internal hallway inside the bedroom. We agreed that the colour would be pulled through from the inners of the other two pieces onto a Hallway table. We had a beautiful Waring and Gillow dressing table that we converted into a bespoke hall table with a few modifications. Beautifully handpainted in Aubusson Blue with generous texture created from brushwork, then distressed and detailed with wax work adding richness and further depth to the colour. The original brass handles were silvered, to match a mirror that we had in mind for the hall table and the inners were then detailed in Paris Grey pulling the outer colours of the other two pieces into the drawers of this hall table. A high gloss finish was created with the wax. A beautiful and bespoke hall table to fit our clients brief and overall concept for the room.

Aside from our unique range of products, we are also proud of our decades worth of experience in the field of decorative painting and training. Having been recognised locally and overseas for these efforts has also led us to directly train over three thousand people and paint over two thousand bespoke furniture or interior pieces for clients.

Taylored Revival or TR as it was known by its regulars was a family business started in a garage in East Auckland in 2012. A leading decorative painting studio which undertook thousands of commissions projects over the years and was considered the leading Chalk Paint retailer in the Australasian region.
