A beautiful commissioned project for our client and a lovely re-interpretation of a pair of french bedsides. Creating feature pieces for a bedroom with a stunning custom duvet with champagne gold embroidery woven all over, the head board in an earthy gold fabric with a silvery lustre. We created a pair of hand painted bedsides with subtle texture to not lose the character in these pieces layered with our liquid lustre and then followed by our Finely Gold glaze. Providing a lovely silvery undertone on a champagne gold finish. These bedsides play beautifully with the light and although completed in metallics hold plenty of character through the subtle texture, aged detailing and metallic distressing
What to do:
Hand painted with texture using Imperial Linen Premium Chalk Paint
Apply Luna Pearl over the top full strength .
Apply Somerset gold over the top, low strength
Metallic Gold Glaze pulled back with steel wool
Dark Waxed
Metallic Gold gilding
