Winter Blues have never looked so good, tonight we are delving into deepening and darkening Vintro Blues.

As important as it is in your selection of your Vintro Chalk Paint colour, (a true decorative paint that requires no sanding or priming) the wax that you apply is just as important for an end result that is stunning in colour, depth and character. Here we showcase  5 Blues from the Vintro range. The colour you see on the mixing stick is the raw colour as it is out of the tin with no wax applied to it.
Of course if you like this colour and finish it's as simple as applying a clear wax over it to seal, leaving the colour as it is. If you are after a smooth flat finish then Vintro No Seal Chalk Paint  could be an option, a great self levelling paint for both in doors and outdoors (just paint and leave to dry, requires no waxing or lacquering).
With Vintro Chalk Paint you can manipulate the colour and finish to your hearts desire, it really is endless, your selection of coloured wax to can make a world of difference when it comes to ageing  creating interest & depth and a lot of the time this may be determined by your surrounding interior space eg) a warmer wax like a dark wax will add a warm brown hue to your finish and is often referred to as "antique wax" giving you a a nice warm aged look, over blues it is beautifully subtle and  if you have lots of earthy wood tones around it may be your go to. Or maybe your have more of monochromatic space with blacks and greys  and looking to inject a blue without it looking out of place a Midnight or Victorian Black coloured wax may be more your go to, in the photos you will see a piece completed in Chiswick House with Victorian Black wax over Chiswick House,  giving the piece of furniture a lovely Ashy hue building up darker around the drawers and detailing of the piece, a great way to use colour and a coloured wax to tone in with your interiors without having to go full grey. Remember the colour you choose as a coloured wax will always come out lighter than the full concentrated paint colour.   Here we show you some of our favourite coloured waxes to use when you are wanting to deepen or darken your Vintro Blues. Different combinations will evoke a different look, style  and feel to accompany this we have also included photos from our retailers work also to show you Vintro Blues & waxes on a bigger scale with waxes.  No Sanding, No Priming, Fast Drying Just Paint, leave to dry and apply your coloured wax.
