These two pieces were purchased off the TR Gallery Floor and were revived and re-designed to fit into our clients entrance area as a feature setting.
The Sideboard has been hand painted in French Linen with both dark and black wax . The original handles were missing rings so were removed and replaced with similar looking handles. The sideboard was further enhanced with a champagne gold gilding wax (created mixing Annie Sloan Bright Silver and both Warm and Bright Gold gilding waxes together to create a lovely champagne gold) used on the edges, on the handles and detailing of the sideboard. The internals have been contrasted in Graphite Chalk paint™ and Black wax. The mirror edges were painted in French Linen and finished with black wax as well as the champagne gold gilding mix connecting it back to the sideboard. A beautiful elegant and bespoke setting, to create a stunning entrance area for our client.
