A wonderful revival of a solid dark teak sideboard for our client. Moving to a new home with expansive sea views, we decided to lighten and brighten the piece in a range of pale blues to connect with the beautiful sea views and give a coastal feel. With lots of beautiful marks, gauges and open grain. We wanted to ensure that the paint finish would enhance and bright out this detailing rather than hide it.
Hand painted in Aurora and finished in a series of custom Vintro glazes by mixing Vintro Lacquer with Water and then colouring it with Vintro's highly pigmented Chalk Paint, we did custom glazes laid over the top of each other of, French Navy, Harewood, moonstone, Midnight, finishing with Vintro gloss lacquer in full strength. The edges further enhanced with french gilding wax. With handles selected from the TR range, and refitted onto the piece. A beautiful bespoke piece created specifically for our clients home and their space.
