Commissioned Rococo bed in Cloudburst & Victorian Black Wax
A Stunning Bed purchased from The Artisan Collection crafted out of solid wood mahogany and hand painted in the TR Studio to fit in with our clients concept and style for the bedroom in our clients new home. A stunning statement bed that is the pillar of hand painted luxury furniture, interpreted exactly how our clients envisaged their bed to be.
Handpainted in Cloudburst Chalk Paint with subtle texture, Cloudburst is a beautiful mid grey some describe it as a battleship grey this has been deepend with Victorian Black Wax which was also used on the bedsides to connect and tie the bed in with the bedside tables which was done in a different neutral but by using the same coloured wax the items work beautifully and cohesively as a suite
What we did:
- Hand painted in Cloudburst Chalk Paint with subtle texture using a Staalmeester round series 2020 brush
- Deepened and aged using Victorian Black coloured wax over the top as well as sealing the finish
- Gold gilding detailing using Gold Gilding wax from The Artisan Company
