A beautiful sentimental Piano, once owned by our client as a young girl this was a special piece that was now being used by the grand kids. In the midst of renovating her home, this Piano was revived to fit in with the newly renovated space where it will sit against a dark blue wall. After a colour and style consult, a concept was agreed upon.  Creating a raised stencil design in the panels of the Piano to create character and interest we then hand painted  the body of the Piano in a mix of Louis Blue and French Linen mixed together, creating a dusky blue.  A colour wash of  Aubusson Blue was then completed and finished with Annie Sloan white wax. Creating a beautiful soft finish whilst achieving a beautiful depth in the blue. The piano was then further enhanced with a subtle silver glaze using Annie Sloan bright silver gilding wax. The internal lid was left as original but brought to life using Annie Sloan dark wax to en- richen and repair fine scratches. This Piano can now be treasured for generations to come and sit proud our clients newly renovated space.
