Our client was in search of an elegant feature desk, to fit into her new home. With very specific sizing requirements to enable the piece to fit perfectly into a space where she envisioned her desk would be. The Artisan Collection was perfect for her with the ability to have pieces custom built on indent. We worked with a design that is understatedly elegant and drew inspiration from the art deco period. Beautifully handcrafted from solid wood Mahogany with stunning lines, this desk is 2 metres long with a concealed flush middle draw. Artfully crafted with curved flared legs, scroll work and gorgeous bevels all ready to be enhanced and hand painted in the TR Studio.
Drawing inspiration from the room and the planned placement of the desk with it looking over lush greenery to a water view, we chose Olive. Carefully hand painted with the skirting and legs detailed in black wax allowing us to richen the colour as well as detail and enhance the beautiful craftsmanship. The top has been finished in clear wax creating a lighter tone of olive, contrasting against the legs and skirting adding a beautiful designer finish to the piece. The bevels and edges have all been further enhanced in a mix of bright gold and silver mixed together carefully edged onto all the beautiful curves and lines. We are very proud of being involved in this project with our client to create a truly stunning bespoke desk for her , a perfect design for her space in a finish that was thoughtfully created to suit her space and fulfil her vision , a bespoke piece we know will be an absolute feature in it's space.
