A beautiful feature piece created for our lovely client in the TR Studio. The piece was created to perfectly fit into a nook next to a large fireplace in the living area. We took inspiration from the our clients home working with their colour and style, in particular our clients feature cushions with gorgeous sage greens throughout. This was also a colour that can be found in the clients hallway, allowing for a beautiful flow and a real connectivity of colours through the different living spaces.
Beautifully hand painted in Chateau Grey and finished with clear wax, and further subtly aged with dark wax to add warmth to the colour. Further enhanced using gold gilding wax on the bevels edges .This styled piece will now sit and work beautifully on our clients wooden floors.
We chose to finish the internals in a light and bright colour, drawn from our clients large fireplace. Our client provided a colour swatch of her fireplace with which we colour matched using Chalk Paint; allowing us to pull that colour through the internals of the piece. A beautiful off white was created using Pure White, Cream with a touch of Versailles.
Overall this is a gorgeous bespoke character piece thoughtfully revived for our client and her home, and one we know will look stunning in her space.
