Not For Sale - Commissioned nursery drawers

Whitford Early Learning Centre is a highly regarded childcare centre set in a rural beautiful park like environment complete with farm animals. The nursery area needed extra storage and as it is "owner operated" they were after a quality set of drawers which would compliment the surroundings.  

Taylored Revival only uses eco friendly paints that contain zero lead, are non toxic and odourless which was a critical consideration given the environment it would be used in.

We had a small but solid mahogany set of drawers with dovetail joints in our stock; perfect for a kids room or in this case a nursery. It had original V shaped vintage handles that were faded and worn but beautiful in shape and detailing. Rather than swap the handles we decided to keep them and give them a revival along with the drawers. Whitford ELC wanted a calming colour as it was going into a sleep area and through discussions it was decided a calming blue with contrasting crisp white inner drawers for storing linen would be perfect. We then finished the "cottage style" look with the reworked vintage handles finished in the same crisp white. Overall this a very sweet set of drawers; meeting the brief on look and functionality and certainly another revival we are very proud of.
