Commissioned hand painted Walls
Regular price $0.00Our clients wanted their walls hand painted with authenticity and character. With large rustic wooden beams and tiled flooring we were inspired by tuscan style walls. They wanted the space to be lighter and brighter, have character and age on the walls but in a subtle way. We hand painted the walls with lots of texture through brushwork and rags using Versailles, Pure White and Old White, colours that worked with the existing colour palette. Through using Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan we were able to beautifully layer the colours adding depth and subtle contrast but in a cohesive way. All the walls were hand painted and ragged to accentuate the existing rough cast plaster. Where there was Gib board (wall with the photo of the chair) we created extra brushwork to give it a rough cast plaster effect tying the two mediums into one. The end result was a truly bespoke paint finish on the walls with a gorgeous authentic feel that can only be created through hand painting with Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan. A large scale revival we are very proud of, we love the way the rooms looks with the warmth and character it holds. A beautiful backdrop for our client to re-furnish and decorate. We look forward to visiting again soon and getting more photos with the space fully furnished.
