A lovely creative finish of a hall table for our client, which is going into a room that is surrounded with large encompassing doors and windows with an outlook onto a  large lush green landscaped area. This hall table will be in the main lounge where there will also be accents of greens in the cushion and decor, it was these factors that inspired the colour choice of Olive for this hall table. Hand painted in strong textured layers of Versailles, French Linen, & Arles, with the final colour being Olive. Distressed, chipped and sanded back to highlight the beautiful textures and brushwork all created through using Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan, then clear and dark waxed to accent the rustic detailing. The base coat Versailles was aired out with the lid off for several days to help in creating this  beautiful texture completely changing the once smooth finish to a "character full" textured rustic finish. Finished off with a light touch of gold wax. This is a creative finish by TR, trusted by our client to come up with something completely bespoke. A one off piece hand painted to fit in with the room that it is going into and a piece that will never be seen anywhere else. Chalk Paint™ is wonderful for layering colours and creating texture and this piece is a great example of exactly that, even pieces with no ornate detailing can be created to have plenty of character through texture and colour.
