A beautiful commissioned project for our client who had this solid wood dining table with sentimental value. Moving into a new home, the table needed a revival to fit into it's bright and white space. Our client had a clear concept of wanting to create a room full of crisp white's, glass and light linens. The table was to be paired with Ghost Chairs, we had a brief that she wanted a matt finish and nothing too shiny "or plastic looking" With a clear idea of what our client was wanting to create and a clear vision we went on to revive this extendable dining table for our client. Using Vintro No Seal Chalk Paint in Crystal, a beautiful low fuss, self levelling chalk paint creating a stunning crisp white table in a matt but smooth and silky finish.
What we did: Cleaned down the table, and painted straight over with Vintro No Seal Chalk Paint. Given the age of the table there were some bleeding/ tannins coming through so we side stepped and used Vintro Extreme Matt Lacquer to block jsut the affected areas/spots and then painted over with Vintro No Seal Chalk Paint.
