This Chandelier was too dark and heavy and no longer worked for our client who had recently moved into her new home. Looking for something lighter and brighter with a bespoke and authentic finish we were commissioned to refinish the chandelier to suit her French rustic style and her white dining area. Hand painted in Pure White Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan (working beautifully over metal) and wet distressed to allow the darker undertones to come through very subtly. Left in a matt finish and only lightly touched with gold gilding wax. This chandelier now looks twice the size and in a lighter colour has taken on a completely different persona meeting our clients brief.
