Our client, had this gorgeous french style chair upholstered in a stunning combination of textiles. The chair frame was dark and together we decided to lighten the frame and give the chair a more authentic feel to compliment the beautiful textile and character that the chair had. The frame of the chair has been painted in Old White, with clear and dark wax accentuating the bevels and curves and further detailing it with gold wax, creating an elegant french rustic look to it. A great example of what a huge difference changing the colour of the frame can do to a chair.
