Our client had purchased Rebecca our Georgian chair imported from the UK, revived and sitting in our furniture gallery. We were then commissioned to revive another chair that we had in stock, also Georgian style and imported from the UK. The concept was to revive this chair to match, and have them as carver chairs for a dining room suite we revived earlier in the year. What a special pair these two are. Handpainted in Graphite then dark waxed directly onto the Graphite to give it an antique black look. We gutted and, re-webbed and reupholstered the seats in a parchment linen, studded in antique black studs. A lovely bespoke set for our clients dining room suite.
