Commissioned Bergere Suite
We have had the pleasure of working on this beautiful Bergere suite for our clients beautifully renovated home. Originally a Mahogany suite with peach velvet upholstery (unfortunately we were too eager to start this revival and forgot to take a before photo).
Hand painted in a deep charcoal colour with a blue base creating a dark liquorice like colour then lightly aged and waxed to create beautiful depth and sheen. This colour beautifully pairs with the vintage style floral fabric and nicely finished with antique black stud work tying all the mediums together.
The cushions are being done through another company and unfortunately were not completed when the photos were taken but we look forward to seeing it all together when we next go to visit our client and hopefully get a few photos.
This revival is a beautiful example of "old intertwined with new" and certainly a revival we are very proud of.
