Commissioned Bedside tables in Midnight Chalk Paint
These beautiful bedsides have been created to fit in with our clients Luxe bed that was also being commissioned. Purchased from The Artisan Collection crafted out of solid wood mahogany and hand painted in the TR Studio to fit in with our clients concept and style for the bedroom in our clients new home.
Midnight has been chosen which is a great alternative over Victorian Black, with a softer, earthier neutral but still providing that rich moody dark look. The colour selected for the bedsides are different to the bed but has been connected back to the bed through using Victorian Black wax to tie the suite together. We love that our client has chosen to do different colours for the bed and bedsides, the gold gilding detailing has allowed us to enhance the finish and add a luxe touch to the look.
What we did:
- Hand painted in Midnight Chalk Paint with subtle texture using a Staalmeester round series 2020 brush
- Deepened and aged using Victorian Black coloured wax over the top as well as sealing the finish
- Gold gilding detailing using Gold Gilding wax from The Artisan Company
