Our long time client had two bathrooms which at one point had a long custom bench and sink installed. She has a gorgeous home with beautiful french style furniture and decor through out. The wall paper in the bathroom was recently done in a vintage french inspired floral, the blue formica bench top was the only thing that no longer fitted in with the redecoration of her home, and that was where we came in. We were commissioned to change the formica and tie it in with the new look and style of the bathroom and its new wall covering.

We decided to pull the olive tones from the wall paper and hand paint the formica bench in a textured finish with Annie Sloan Olive. The units were then clear and dark waxed to give it a beautiful depth of colour as well as making it extremely durable. A fitting transformation, the revival took it away from being a "formica" top and worked in harmony with the new wall paper, completing the french vintage look and style our client was looking to achieve.

*Annie Sloan paint is normally not suitable for bench tops/ wet areas and this was discussed with our client before we went ahead with this project. Due to the design of the deep sink our client explained that these bench tops were not wet areas therefore after a thorough consult a commissioned revival was put in place.
