Commissioned Antique wardrobe and bedsides
Our client was redecorating one of her rooms where we held an onsite consultation to come up with a concept, colour scheme and theme for her guest bedroom.
One of the requirements was a linen closet for the room, we had a beautiful antique Waring and Gillow wardrobe with beautiful history and craftsmanship from our imported european stock. We discussed converting it into a linen closet. We then modified and installed additional shelves for linen and created ventilation holes. Hand painted the entire piece with beautiful texture and depth using brushwork. Handpainted in Paris Grey with Pure White detailing then distressed and detailed with wax work. The inners were detailed in a beautiful Aubusson Blue, all original labels and plaques from Waring and Gillow were preserved.
Two bedside tables were also purchased and commissioned, we hand painted the outers in Paris Grey to match the wardrobe, hand painting Pure White floral detailing and detailing around the legs. The inners were done in Aubusson Blue to tie in with the wardrobe making it a beautiful set for the guest bedroom.
A Hallway table was also commissioned, we decided to draw the colours out from the inside of the wardrobe to create a beautiful Aubusson Blue hall table. (see commissioned Aubusson Blue hall table)
We were very excited to be apart of the redecoration project with our client, creating and being apart of a full concept. Beautiful pieces for a beautiful coastal inspired room.
