NO SANDING OR PRIMING JUST PAINT WITH ARTISAN PREMIUM CHALK PAINT
Hand painted for a coastal style home, this is a beautiful rustic character finish with texture utilising blues with slight hues of greens... painted straight over a previously painted and waxed piece creating a new look for a new year. A fun quick video running you through the steps. A project like this works with imperfections, the table in which was painted was an old half round with marks and dings, suitable for a finish like this where those imperfections will work in to help finish of the look.
What we did:
Hand painted with texture with Rubbed Sage Premium Chalk Paint
Dry brushed in selected areas with Artisan Metallic Creme in Classic Gold
Coloured waxed first in Deep Sapphire, by mixing Artisan Clear Wax and Deep Sapphire Premium Chalk Paint together, and then all over again in a Liberty coloured wax allowing the colours to mix and blend and soften
Pulled back & distressed with both steel wool & 240 grit sand paper to allow subtle hints of rubbed sage to come through
