Things to Note: 
wax re-activates wax, anytime you apply wax over a "waxed" surface, it softens it's allowing you to re-work it. 
Use Clear wax to remove
Allow dark wax to sit in bevels and edges to accentuate the shape of your furniture and to replicate age and patina.
