Not For Sale - Andrea : French Elegance collection: Hand painted, round ornate chair in Coco and Antoinette

Andrea is a highly ornate round dutch colonial style chair with beautiful carving and shape. She has been hand painted in layers of various colours  using Annie Sloan brushes to create texture in her paint finish. The predominant colour is a mix of Coco and Antoinette.  She has been highly distressed allowing the various underlying colours to subtly peep through and then clear waxed and heavily dark waxed to enhance all of the beautiful carvings. Although Andrea is reminiscent of a Dutch colonial chair, she has been revived with French Elegance in mind, using beautiful soft french colours which have then been beautifully aged through detail work. Andrea would make for a beautiful bespoke bedroom chair or a statement chair at the end of a hall way or corner of a room.
