-sample wooden swatch
-photo frame 
-glass jar 

What you will need to create this Artisan Pewter Metallic Finish: 
1 Litre Clubhouse Grey 
1 Pewter Metallic Creme 
1 Staalmeester brush 2020 Pro Hybrid brush
(or any other suitable brush from the Staalmeester Brush that fits in with your project) 
1 Spalter brush for your metallics in the correct size 
Optional : Artisan Gilding wax 


  • Although not shown in the video if painting a vase or jar take the finish down 1-2cm down the inside neck of the jar. 
  • Doing  an Artisan Pewter Metallic Finish on  the external of a glass jar or vase is a decorative paint finish and will be wipeable however is not dishwasher safe
  • To blend your brush strokes when using Metallic Cremes, take pressure off your brush and feather to create a seamless finish 
  • Wipe the rim of your metallic creme after use and always keep the lid of your metallic creme tightly shut.

Taylored Revival or TR as it was known by its regulars was a family business started in a garage in East Auckland in 2012. A leading decorative painting studio which undertook thousands of commissions projects over the years and was considered the leading Chalk Paint retailer in the Australasian region.
