Happy Valentines day! In keeping with this romantic day of the year we are focussing on the beauty of Artisan Reds. The colour Red embodies many things from passion, love, romance and spice right through to danger. Brickyard, a deep red, that can be used for industrial style homes when paired with Carbon Black wax or a Carbon Black wash and satin lacquer for a cool deep red finish which pairs beautifully with black metals. Off set it with dark silvers and pewters to finish off the industrial look. For a Farmhouse rustic finish warm Brickyard up and create a vintage style finish with dark wax giving you the appearance of a beautiful vintage aged red that works well with wooden tones in the home.
Ruby Red is our brightest, loudest red and is a top pick for contemporary spaces wanting a strong bright pop of red. Artisan lacquers create a beautiful rich finish to all Artisan reds and is a great option for creating that red lustrous look. Sangria is an in between a beautiful pinky wine like red that can fit both contemporary and more traditional styles. Modernise with Carbon Black wax or wash and lacquer or create a more classic look with dark wax. It offsets beautifully with greenery.
