Regular price $0.00A stunning transformation and re-interpretation of this wine cabinet as a commission project for our client, working with our client who wanted the piece in gold, we worked on a concept to make it a visual feature.
The wine rack left in original wood and with detailed gold ends sitting stunningly against our Carbon Black in Velvet Luxe, a great decorative paint for internals not requiring any waxing or lacquering, just two coats for the smooth flat velvety finish.
A great before and after and a real showcase of how paint finishes can completely re-interpret a piece to suit the design of your interior space.
What we did:
Internals hand painted in Velvet Luxe - Carbon Black with a 2inch flat Staalmeester brush
Externals:
Hand Painted in Carbon Black Chalk Paint with subtle texture as a base coat for gold
Followed by The Artisan Soft Gold and washed in gold metallics
Detailed in dark wax and gold gilding
