Commissioned to be painted by in an elegant and luxurious soft finish. Our long time client wanted subtle texture and variation but with character using soft neutral tones whites, greys and silvers. This large piece stands at a grand scale and makes for a stunning feature. Inside this beautiful cabinet holds 4 dowels on the left with floating glass shelves on the right with opening french doors. This luxurious cabinet will stand in our clients hall way across from the entry of a formal lounge. Measured, designed and built to specifically to suit her space
Our client wanted to be-able to feature and enhance her beautiful vibrant antique Sari's that she has inherited down from her family. To avoid any distraction from the stunning colours and keeping the focus on the ornaments in her cabinet we chose to go with a neutral colour pallet for both the interior and exterior.
What we did:
- Hand-painted in Champagne Waltz using a Staalmeester 2020 synthetic brush
- Depth, framing and slight age created using: Tower Bridge and Cloudburst wax
- Internals completed in Champagne Waltz no seal
- A Metallic Champagne wash was used on the bevels to lift the colour, add a shimmer and an added touch of luxe .
