Today we used our Mannequin @ the Vintro Paint HQ to create our pictagram. This really showcases one of Vintro's stunning blues which just happens to be called "Paris Blue". The mannequin was originally in white plastic; it has been painted straight over (no sanding or priming) with Paris Blue - Chalk Paint and then sectioned off with different Vintro coloured waxes to showcase the versatility of this beautiful bright bold blue.

A stunning statement colour as it is, and with Vintro's rich and highly pigmented paints this colour has a beautiful depth (notice how the colours respond to natural light in the photos, take note of the colours in both the light and shadow and how the colour shifts across the body of the  mannequin because of this). Every single colour in the Vintro colour range is complex and multi-pigmented, it's complexity is what allows for  beautiful saturated colours with a stunning depth for interior spaces.  If you love Paris Blue as it is, simply paint straight with Vintro Chalk Paint in Paris Blue (No Sanding or Priming) then finish and seal with Vintro soft clear wax for durability and protection.  Alternatively you can now use Vintro No Seal Chalk Paint for that one colour flat finish and with its advanced self levelling properties it will provide for a smooth finish that uniquely for a Chalk Paint requires no waxing or lacquering.

If you're looking for a deeper moodier version then take a look at how the colour and finish changes with Victorian Black wax, we have also included an example from one of our Vintro Paint NZ retailers to show Paris Blue's darker, moodier side on an actual piece of furniture. Looking for something a little softer or maybe even a "beachy" version, Chiswick House coloured wax and Christabelle coloured waxes does the job, remember you can adjust and pull back (remove, soften) your coloured waxes to suit with either Vintro Clear wax and a clean lint free rag or with fine steel wool (take a look at our video guides). Any of these combinations will pair beautifully with both gold and silver and "pops" beautifully with a crisp white.

So there you have it, 4 beautiful ways to dress your Vintro Paris Blue Chalk Paint... it's all about expressing yourself and having the ability and freedom to get creative with ease. Paris Blue is without a doubt a statement blue which sits beautifully on both small items of furniture for that pop of colour in the corner, or on large pieces such as a sideboard. A colour like this when spread over a big piece will become a stunning feature and will set the tone, and style for the room beautifully.
